Facilitator Profile
Mary Yetter
Core Focus: Motherhood
About
Mary Yetter is a Mama Rising Coach and the founder of My Matrescence, a platform that supports women through the identity, emotional, and relational shifts of motherhood through coaching, education, and conversation.
She speaks about matrescence, the identity transition into motherhood, an experience many women go through without having language for it.
Mary’s work is rooted in both her training as a Mama Rising facilitator and her own lived experience of motherhood. After a decade long career, she became a full-time mother to three children in just 27 months, an intense and rapid shift that deeply reshaped her identity and sense of self.
Like many women, she found that motherhood was not simply a change in role, but a disorienting transformation that left her feeling lost, overwhelmed, and searching for language and support.
Through her work, Mary creates space for women to feel seen in the complexity of their experience and to reconnect with themselves as they move through this transition. Her approach is grounded, compassionate, and reflective, supporting women in finding clarity, self trust, and a deeper understanding of who they are becoming.
She feels deeply called to share the language of matrescence more widely, helping women know they are not alone in what they are experiencing.
