Hi my name is Kelly and I specialise in somatic and nervous system healing, I am a trauma informed Yoga and Breathwork instructor and a Mama Rising facilitator. I am dedicated to supporting women following perinatal trauma and loss.
Hi I'm Kelly, I live amongst the rolling hills of Yorkshire in the north of England , I’m married and a mother to our beautiful daughter Lily-May who at the time of writing this is 3 years old.
I specialise in somatic and nervous system healing, I am a trauma informed Yoga and Breathwork instructor and a Mama Rising facilitator.
I am honoured to support Women through one of the biggest transformations and shifts In identify they will ever experience and the wisdom of Matrescence is woven throughout the work that I do with my clients.
I am fascinated in the affect that stress and trauma has on our physical well-being and dedicated to supporting women to heal from their perinatal experiences with a ‘bottom up approach’- meaning to use the bodies wisdom to aid healing. I share the incredible work of Dr Stephen Porges and Deb Dana on The Polyvagal theory along with the wisdom of Yoga and Breathwork.
Nervous system education and regulation is a key part of the work that I share with my clients alongside looking at Matrescence through the lens of trauma and loss.
Since becoming a mother myself I have experience birth trauma and loss first hand and felt the effects physically, emotionally and mentally. It’s been a wild ride and has made me the women I am today.
I believe that we can all heal from our experiences and be the Woman and Mother that we desire and deserve to be.
I offer 1:1 support online or in person at my studio (I am based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, UK) and I am also the co- founder of the online platform for mothers called FLY Mama and FLY Mama Trauma Informed: providing online group movement and coaching classes as well as a beautiful community for mothers across the globe.
Outside of work I LOVE watching the sunrise/set (I’m obsessed!) ,wild swimming, generally being outside, having a shandy (they are making a come back), doing a jigsaw and enjoying time with my family and friends.
