About
Motherhood hit me like an unexpected tidal wave. I was anxious, confused, uninformed, surprised, and discouraged. These feelings led to anger and trauma as I welcomed my firstborn.
I want nothing more than to avoid a similar experience for other mothers.
The word matrescence calmed the storm and gave me a way to navigate the ups and downs of motherhood.
